BioI am a musicologist, a musician, and the associate academic dean at Drew Theological School in Madison, NJ. I was born in Seattle, Washington and spent much of my childhood in Los Altos, California before moving to a small island in Washington State for my last two years of high school. I reeived a BA degree from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington and then a PhD in musicology from Columbia University. I have lived in Morristown, NJ for over thirty years now with my husband Jim, a scientist. Our three children are all grown and live in other parts of the country.
